    forwarded messages invisible (2002/2000)

Why would the body of messages forwarded from an Outlook 2002 user to an Outlook 2000 user disappear from the screen?

The following scenario happened today in our office. An Outlook 2002 user received a message from outside the office and forwarded it to an Outlook 2000 user in the office. The Outlook 2000 user was able to see the note from the Outlook 2002 user, as well as the header for the forwarded message, but could not see the body of the forwarded message.

When I was asked to check on this, I opened the recipient user's inbox from my (outlook2002) machine, and was able to see the body of the forwarded message just fine. When his secretary did the same thing, using Outlook 2000, she saw what the recipient saw, i.e, header, but no body on the forwarded message.

We are using Exchange 5.5, sp4. The message was in rtf format, if that makes a difference.

    What's happening here? Any thoughts?
