    Outlook 2007

I want to be lock down users access to .pst files.

I was thinking of disabling the menus either by code, policy, registry keys.

Does anyone know how I can disable or lock down the Data file in outlook. 2007.

    accessed either by:
File menu, Data File Management...The Account Settings dialog box displays, the tab Data Files...
Tools, Account Settings. The Account Settings dialog box displays, the tab Data Files...

I had a look at Outlook mso control id values. however I could only find a control id for the group and not the individual menu/tab?

    any ideas?

    many thanks

See http://www.simple-talk.com/sysadmin/...-of-pst-files/ (though I think that a lot of the criticisms of PSTs in an Exchange environment are overblown).
