In Outlook 2010, I want to write a visual basic macro to programmatically toggle the "Reading button" (which temporarily hides the "navigation pane" and the "to-do bar", providing more space for the "reading pane"). I've worked out how to toggle the navigation pane, but can't find out how to refer to the "to-do bar". Any ideas?

PS: There doesn't seem to be a way to record a macro in Outlook 2010. Correct?

Worked it out (by modifying some code I found on This seems to do it:
Sub ShowHideToDoBar()
    Dim myOlApp As New Outlook.Application
    Dim myOlExp As Outlook.Explorer
    Set myOlExp = myOlApp.ActiveExplorer
    myOlExp.ShowPane olToDoBar, Not myOlExp.IsPaneVisible(olToDoBar)
End Sub
