I finally upgraded to Excel 2007. I would love to know if I can hide the formulas and protect cells which contain that formula from being overwritten.

    Thanks

It is the same as 2003 and before
Make sure that the Cells with formulas have the Locked and Hide Properties Ticked
You can do this from the right Mouse by selecting Format Cells as before
You need to remove the Protect Ticks from any cells you want users to be able to change first.
The easiest way is often to remove protection from all cells,
and then set protection onto those you want to protect.

    Then Turn on Protection

And set password and which elements you want protected as before

Then the cells will be protected on that sheet,
and the Formulas will not be visible in the formula bar.
