I use XP Pro SP 3 and Office 2010 basic version.
Office 2010 Word does not have the postal bar code.
Does anyone know how to get the postal bar code to appear
above the mailing name and address like it did in Office 2003
Word? Is there an add-in that can be installed that will do
    this function?

Hmmm, apparently, the Word bar code doesn't match some updated USPS specifications, so it was removed starting in Word 2007. See Word 2010 - Where's the "Delivery Point Bar Code"? @ Microsoft forums.

    Hi,
As for me, I am testing the related
excel barcode add-in these days. Do you have any ideas about it? Or any good suggestion? Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,
    Peter

I was adding the bar code in WordPerfect when printing envelopes and was told by the local post office to save the ink, their machine optically reads the Zip Code and prints it anyway so the recipient was seeing it twice.
