Customization files for Word & Excel (97 SR2)

If you customize your toolbars in Word and Excel, where the customizations stored (in what file)? Is it the normal.dot and personal.xls files?

macros, autotext, styles, menus and toolbars are stored in templates in Word. THey need not all be in Normal.dot, they could also be in the attached template and in global templates.
