I recently converted to MS Word 2010. I can not find the Insert File comand for inserting a Word doc into another Word doc.
Can anyone tell me where to find this?

    Marc,

On the insert tab, use the Object dropdown arrow, Select Object..., scroll down the list to Microsoft Office Word Document.

    RG,

Doing that will insert an embedded Word document object, which is not the same as what the old "Insert > File" command did in pre-2007 versions of Word.

To do the equivalent of the old "Insert > File", use Insert > Object > Insert Text from File.

It is Alt+N,J,F in Word 2010. Quite why they changed the terminology from Insert File to Insert Text from File is out of my grasp!
