I just updated Adobe Flash... again. (Thank you Secunia!)

I usually try to give EULAs at least a cursory review, but this one would need a Philadelphia lawyer. The EULA for the latest version is 280 pages. It was a 1.5 MB download. That is just plain ridiculous. I didn't even bother. For all I know I just gave them rights to my first born.

I need something better than Adobe. I'm tired of their security problems and everything else. Any suggestions?

You can try Foxit reader or Nitro PDF Reader. Both are free & lightweight (especially compared to Adobe reader).

Is that for the authoring product? The Flash Player EULA (also applies to Adobe Reader) is about 8 pages: Adobe - Adobe product license agreements: Flash Player 10.1 EULA.

http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/#desktop Look at Adobe Flash Player 10.1 under Desktop Products. That's where the link took me when I clicked to read the EULA before installing the new version. I looked at your link and that certainly makes more sense, but it was not an option that I was given.

Maybe Adobe just needs to fix their link in the Flash Player Installer. Or maybe they really mean it to be the way it is. They just figure no one will actually read it. <grin> At 3.3MB I certainly didn't.

    Thanks for the help.
