Apparently related problem - maybe better here than a new topic. Shutting down is fine, and I have a "0" in the registry where indicated above. My problem is restarting. I get the 'shutting down' notice with the rotating circle, but it just hangs there - I have to shut it down with the power button. Any hints, what else do you need to know, or should I start a new thread? Thanks.

I split this from http://bro.ws/778387L into its own thread. Please check the other thread for reference to the registry key and setting. This problem should be answered on its own merits.
