    I want to know in the experience of forum users which is the Best Codec Pack Suite.

    It can be because it has many codecs-tools, or some codecs that others don't have, also it can be a non problem pack, it is simple to use, etc, etc.

    I know that the most popular in their latest versions are:

    * K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 6.4.0 (also Basic, Standard and Full) - http://codecguide.com
    * Media Player Codec Pack 3.9.6 - http://www.mediaplayercodecpack.com
    * Windows Essentials Media Codec Pack 3.0 - http://www.mediacodec.org
    * XP Codec Pack 2.5.1 - http://www.xpcodecpack.com
    * CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) 2010-09-07 Beta - http://www.cccp-project.net
    * Codec for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista 8.3n - http://m5studio.pl
    * X Codec Pack 3.0.0.4 - http://recodemedia.fre3.com
    * AVC Streaming PlugIn for WMP 1.2.80416 - http://elecard.com/products/products...vc-plugins.php
    * Elecard MPEG-2 Encoder Std Pack 4.0 - http://www.elecard.com/products/prod...g2-encoder-std
    * Cole2k Media Codec Pack Advanced 7.8.0 - http://www.cole2k.net/codec-pack-advanced.html
    * Fantasy Codec Pack 3.87 - http://my.opera.com/kingjiu/blog

    Also for Windows 7:

    * Win7codecs 2.6.3 - http://shark007.net/win7codecs.html

    Do you know others?
    Easy to configure?
    Best performance?
    Which do you prefer?
    You can vote in the above Poll

    Many thanks

    My preference is to avoid codec packs in favor of only downloading the individual codecs that I actually need, like
    Xvid, DviX, FLAC, APE, and AC3...when and if at all possible.

    Invest a little time and energy in a well thought out BACKUP regimen and you will have minimal down time, and headache.

    Build your own system; get everything you want and nothing you don't.
    Latest Build:
    ASUS X99 Deluxe, Core i7-5960X, Corsair Hydro H100i, Plextor M6e 256GB M.2 SSD, Corsair DOMINATOR Platinum 32GB DDR4@2666, W8.1 64 bit,
    EVGA GTX980, Seasonic PLATINUM-1000W PSU, MountainMods U2-UFO Case, and 7 other internal drives.
