I'm not understanding something: I set up my GMail to come into Outlook. This it seems to do fine.

But is it "Sent Mail or Sent Items" that Outlook sees as the default Send folder? And does that mean that the folders that are part of the "sub group" [GMail] are duplicates?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Certainly seems that way RR!

I seem to be able to send and receive mail, but not in a way that is truly traceable. I send something out, and it shows up in the inbox I sent it to, but no copy in the "Sent".

And I send mail *to* that account, and it seems dubious as to whether it gets there. And then there's that whole deal about the folder trees! What started out as a "That would be kinda cool!" has turned into a "I'm gonna figger this sucker out!"

Any help would be appreciated, RR.

I set up Outlook (IMAP) with IMAP server at 993 and set to SSL, and the SMTP server set to 587 and TLS.

    Regards,
    Chuck
