    Re: blocked file (Windows 98SE SR1 Office 2000 )

Now I've really messed up. The folder I was trying to download was hplj3.exe and was being sent by the Symantec person. I started searching Microsoft Pfoduct Support and got " WD2000: Error Message: Word Cannot Print. There is No Printer Installed. " There was a printer installed. Following the directions I uninstalled the HP DeskJet 880C and tried to reinstall. I went through the install wizard to the point where it was supposed to start copying files. It said to insert the Windows 98SE cd so it could copy some files. I did. It couldn't find the files. I couldn't either.
Anyway, now I cant get my printer reinstalled. When I reboot, I keep getting the same error message about inserting the Windows 98SE disc and the "copying files" screen is sitting there in the background. If I inser the cd, I continue to get the error messages saying it can't find the files and to reinsert the cd.
How do I fix all this?

I got my printer back by going to device manager and changing the printer setting to DeskJet880C instead of WinFax where some gremlin had put it.
How do I get rid of the 2 boxes that come up when I reboot? The front box says to Insert my Windows 98SE disc. In the background is the "copying files" box.
I click OK on the install box and 2 more boxes come up telling me what files "it" can't find. I clidk cancel and they all go away until the next time I reboot.
