Our Exchange Server 2003 recently crashed and when mailboxes and public folders were recovered, 1 particular folder containing our company's shared contacts, was no longer searchable (other than by last name). We actively use the Notes section to search and sort particular information. Users can search their personal contacts folder, but not the public folder containing contacts. We've checked permissions and reinserted the database, but cannot figure out what has happened to take away the search feature for searching all fields. Would appreciate any assistance.
