I am finding the bit of Windows XP software called Performance to be quite useful. It shows disk activity. But I have to start it manually at every boot-up by going through Start | Help | search for Performance | etc. How can I cause it to start automatically as part of boot-up?
    Thanks

If by "Performance" you mean the Performance tab of Task Manager, you can get part of the way there by scheduling C:\Windows\System32\taskmgr.exe to run at logon time.

However, I haven't been successful in finding a command-line parameter to cause Task Manager to open with the Performance tab in focus...
