News on Portable apps

Just decided to share a tip with the group

If any of y'all have been following Portableapps you may know that Platform 2.0 B5 has been out for a bit but you may have missed something buried in the threads

A Trick Worthy OF MOM Herself.
to do

1 download the 2.0B5 platform installer (from http://portableapps.com/node/24258 )
2 install same to your flash key
3 open a command window to %drivename%\portableapps\
4 run the command
PortableAppsUpdater /MODE=ADD
5 watch as a nice window with the entire set of portable apps comes up for your selection
6 check whichever apps you would like and hit next
7 go get coffee and then watch as the selected apps download and then install (for some you may have to do the normal next > Next shuffle)

Beta 6 whenever that comes out should have this in the menu and of course the new update function will keep the apps fresh
