    Hi Excel Experts,

    I have a huge excel database that were are validating and correcting. All the cells that need correction are highlighted in a specific colour. Since these coloured cells are random and different in different column. Is there a simple way of either sorting columns by colour, so that we could sort column by column and make changes OR is there a simpler way of doing it. Also if there is a formula to give us the colour number, we could use the formula in the last blank column and then sort the number column.

    I am using excel 2003.

    That presumes that the colors are explicitly set. If the colors are not explicitly set (as if they come from conditional formatting) the determination of the color is more complicated:
