This is to a very select group of people... Engineers or programmers that are working with RoHS material content data for electronic parts that use the IPC-1752 PDF and XML files. I'm trying to export my material content data for our product, to an XML file that can be imported into the IPC PDF file, but I'm not having any success. I was hoping I could find someone that could give a sample Excel file that will export correctly, so that I could use it as a template to get my date out of Excel. Thanks.

    Scott:

What you will need is the proper XLM schema. That should be available from ipc form 1752 or some other source.

For a general discussion of Excel and XLM First, open Excel Help and type in the search box XLM Maps, then search. This should give instructions to export out of Excel.

If the file contains all the proper schema it should import to PDF.

    Good Luck.
