    Hi Folks,

    Every time I try to run Windows Experience Index I get an error message stating that the operation could not complete do to some unexplained or detailed Os or hardware error. Very unspecific to say the least. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 with the following configuration: Operating System
    Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) (build 7600)
    Install Language: English (United States)

    I have installed ALL the latest drivers for hardware etc and this is a new install from a formatted disc. Has anyone any idea why the W.E.I will not complete?

    Did you check the systems logs to see if there were any more details about this error (Computer | Manager | System Tools | Event Viewer | Windows Logs | <either Application or System>)?

    I have run WEI on a number of PCs and never seen it fail.

    Have you tried looking in device manager to see if any hardware errors or drivers errors shown?
