I am running Windows 7 Professional on a Dell Vostro 220 Desktop. It is running on a company network/domain. My network drives connect whenever I log on using logon scripts and group policy. One of the drives sometimes but not always fails to show under Computer in Windows Explorer. If I try to map the drive manually it tells me it is already connected. If I try to open a file in Excel or Word I can see the drive. As a workaround I have now added the drive to my Favourites in Explorer and it shows there.
Anyone seen the same problem or know the cure?
