    Win XP-SP3
Maybe I'm just paranoid, but just about every time I download updates, something on the computer either goes crazy
    or stops working.
The latest adventure is a big notice that ActiveX has gone off. After several tries, I got it to work again, but it
is more than annoying. I also seem to lose my sound with each viewing of anything on You-Tube.
Anybody else having this happen?? Anybody know of a sure way to check out the updates before installing
them? I try, but not having any luck avoiding the kind of problems I described.

You should be able to right click on any update and choose Hide. Then you will not see the update offered unless you choose to Unhide it.
