Creator of shared calendar entry in Outlook2007

Secretary has editor rights to a shared calendar. The calendar owner finds a meeting scheduled on a Sunday that he doesn't remember creating. The secretary doesn't remember creating it either. How can the original author of the meeting be determined? The owner is listed as the meeting organizer. Using Outlook 2007 with windowsXP SP3. Attempted to create a view showing Author, but the field is not populated. Microsoft support has nothing for Outlook'07 and suggested creating a view for Outlook'03. Google searches yielded nothing for Outlook'07.

You can prevent creation of items by setting "default" and "anonymous" to "none" instead of contributor.
Don't know how to find the owner of an item unless you have journalling turned on.
