Is it possible to setup the FAX program in XP Home Edition SP3? When I tried using the Contol Panel and followed the instructions I was told to put in the Disk with SP3. Well, I don't have a disk for SP3, I installed it from the Microsoft site. With no disk I had no other options. Just curious. I would like to be able to FAX a document after scanning it. Thanks.

Fax shows as one of the printers you can choose when you tell Windows to print a document.
I think it is there if you have any word processing app installed. I have never had to load the Windows media disk
in order to send a fax. Make sure your 'analog modem' is installed and is listed as 'fax-capable' (every one I've
ever seen has been) and is connected to the landline wiring (has dial tone).
