Does anyone know, or use, a mail notifier? I had the Gmail "talk" app which I really liked and it worked well. (I mainly use Gmail). But when I changed my password, it unfortunately wouldn't change in Talk (and I couldn't find where to do so), so that stopped it.

I saw there was a great (according to the reviews) web notifier addon for Firefox, but it wouldn't install correctly. *sigh*

I've found this notifier for Gmail and Windows 7, but I'm unsure of whether this is safe. Is anyone familiar with it, or do you have an app that is badware free and works like it's supposed to?

    Thanks ahead of time!

Thanks, Roderunner, but this won't install. I don't know if it's because Firefox has updated the browser and the notifier isn't configured for it. I've tried to install about 5 times, but I keep getting the "bad file hashtag" error.

    Hi Tim,

I've tried this, but since I use the "https" on my Google mail, there is a patch which also needs to be installed in the registry. My computer didn't like the idea of something being applied to the registry, so I listened to my computer. LOL

    Thanks for the suggestion, though!
