I use APC's Powerchute to monitor my APC unit and everytime I boot I get the following message.

This is the only startup program that causes this.

How can I prevent this from popping up everytime I boot ???

    Thanks

    Banyarola,

I also use the APC program, however, I don't get the UAC prompt on Windows startup! I do get the prompt if I open it from the System Tray {Win 7 - 64 Bit}. If you are loading this program from the CD that came with your UPS you might try going to the APC website and downloading the latest version.

I checked my system just to make sure I hadn't entered an exception in the DEP dialog but I had not.

    I just installed it...

Being I am the Administrator I figure it would install properly..

Should I Un-install it and then RIGHT click on the program and pick RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR ???

That would be a good idea. Uninstall and reinstall using 'Run as administrator'. Your are part of the Administrator Group, but are not THE Administrator. However, I would follow RetiredGeek's recommendation to download the latest driver from APC's web site if you indeed installed the driver that came on the APC CD.

Is the software by any chance starting from your Windows Start menu Startup folder?

Are you using the default UAC settings for Windows 7? Check User Accounts in Control Panel to confirm.
