    I moved some old help files (VBWD10.CHM) onto my my new computer. The formatting is nor right and I get errors everyime I jump to a new topic.

    What file or files are needed to make these CHMs work?

    Help files are normally standard and don't require changing.
    What errors are you seeing?

    cheers, Paul

    Right-Click on each select Properties and "Unlock" them.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I found it (forgetting that you can look at the HTML). It was looking for the following:

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="mk:@msitstore:msohlp11.chm::/html/office10.css">
    <script type="text/javascript" language="Javascript" src="mk:@msitstore:msohlp11.chm::/html/sExpCollapse.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript" src="mk:@msitstore:msohlp11.chm::/html/inline.js"></script>

    It does have to be on the same level as the calling file. I suspect there's another file that does the same function, since my msohlp11.chm was in a odd place
