While Yahoo keeps all undeleted emails online forever, my lack of faith tells me that it's only a matter of time until they have a disaster, sending all my messages off to La-La Land.

Yahoo had an archiving facility that I used to use, but they removed that option sometime in early 2010. Actually, they say that messages can still be archived if you move them to your inbox first, but that is a ridiculous option when you have hundreds of messages in dozens of folders.

I have been able to twice get a response on this issue from the innards of Yahoo. The responder apparently checked with somebody and was told they couldn't give back the old archiving capability. Period. BTW, how it worked was to make the emails into .EML files and zip up the whole shebang, keeping all of the folders intact. I'm sure they remember how; they probably have just turned off that option...

Anyway, does anybody know of a way to archive Yahoo emails while keeping the folder structure?
