    It occurred to me that the attached may be useful to anybody with long running macros where they want to keep the user informed of what's going on.
    It allows for a succession of status messages, which remain on the screen, and which optionally have " Done." added at the end of each line prior to adding the new message.
    You can also add an ellipsis at the end of an existing error message if you want to. If you look at the code and/or press the 'Test' button you'll get the idea I think.

    You would just need to add the userform and the code to your workbook.
