    Macros|Security|No virus scanner installed? (Excel 2k (9.0.3821 SR-1))

When I last checked in the Macros section it stated I had no virus scanner installed.

How do I enable the scanner I have installed (NAV) within Excel so it knows I have virus protection?

    Hi,
I have NAV2001 at home and there's an option in it (under Options-General) called Microsoft Office 2000 plug-in, which needs to be checked. I don't know if this is the same for all versions of NAV. However I use Sophos at work and this does not show up under Office's virus protection, even though I know it scans office documents, so the fact that Office doesn't say that there's a virus scanner installed doesn't necessarily mean you're not protected!
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,

I'm using Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.50.846 which came with my Dell computer, but there is no mention of enabling plug-ins. It's not that I have any problems about not being protected, it just would have been nice to remove what is a redundant statement.
