"Local Access only" issue! I searched both here (Linsys Forum) and the internet and will post the issue on HP and other forums. The issue appears to be common and I've tried many of the fixes without success. While in Boston over Thanksgiving I setup a new network (and new E2000) at my daughters home. The PC connects to the home network but can not access the internet unless it is hard wired to the router. Three other laptops all were able to access the internet wirelessly. As I stated, I tried many fixes I found online but cannot get "Local Access only" disabled. Help would be appreciated!

It seems likely that you have a wireless problem or two.
    1. Do you have the IP address set to automatic in the wireless connection?
    2. Have you set MAC filtering on the router - if so turn it off.
    3. Have you tried the lappy on another wireless connection?

    cheers, Paul

Thank you for the reply! I'm sure the default router settings would have: 1) yes and 2) no, and as I said all the other laptops (other visiting siblings and mine) worked fine. Ironic that my daughter's (who resides there) laptop is the one with the problem.
