    Thumbs up

i'm looking for a free download that saves just the text content of web pages. i think possibly it was mentioned in the windows secrets newsletter once. searching online i found something called 'textonly' which seemed like maybe it filled the bill. but wherever i tried downloading it all i got was a couple of text files. can anyone help with this? thanks.

Something to use in the browser or something that works as a stand-alone application?

Of course, the browsers often have the ability to save just the text. The files aren't attractive, but if that's all you want...

Ah, it's a clipboard cleaner, lets you paste as plain text without going through Notepad. Link: http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/
