Network icon ?

Hello.

How can I get an icon for the Network on my Desktop ? I got a shortcut to the Network on it but it shows the small shortcut arrow. On my other W-7 machine, I got a "pure" icon but darn if I can remember how I did it.

Right click on the Desktop, select Personalize. In the left pane click "Change desktop icons". Under Desktop Icons place a check beside "Network" > Apply > OK. Should get you the icon without the "arrow".

JB, hello.

Thanks for reminding me about this way to get the proper icon for Network. It sounds so simple when one knows how. There are so many ways to skin a cat. I will try and not forget now.
