    Hi

I have created a dropdown lookup in a table and allowed it to accept multiple values. When that is shown in my user forn the number of records increases by the number of values selected, so I effectively see the same data multiple times and have more records in my form than in my table - how can i stop this please.

    cheers

Most Access users avoid using multiple value fields, as they not consistent with standard rules for relational design, and so it is hard to find any help when things go wrong.

The standard solution for this situation is to put the data where you want multiple values into a separate related table, and to display that data on a subform of the main form.

Is your form just based on the table? or is a query involved?
There are some extra issues involved with multivalued fields in queries. This article might help.

Can you post a sample db, with just a bit of sanitisied data?

Edited later: I noticed that the link I thought I put in was not present. Have just added it
