sync Outlook 2002 and handspring PDA (Outlook 2002)

I have recently upgraded to OfficeXP - I have a Handspring and it has always sync'd perfectly with Outlook 2000- now I have constant problems-

Outlook pops up with a security window and I allow syn for 10 minutes- I make sure just about EVERYTHING is disabled on my system- antivirus, Nortons Internet Security, etc-and no other programs are running - but... as the system starts to sync with Outlook- in about 1 minute I get a
":invalid page fault in module <unknow> at 0000:2100112a.

Just wondered if anyone else was having problems between PDAs and Outlook- and if there is anything I can do on the Outlook side ( I have searched Handspring's website and upgraded to the newer Pocket Mirror software- did not help---)

The newest software should avoid the prompts. Did you uninstall it and reinstal lthe new or just upgrade it?

Are you connecting to an exchange server? if so, the admin can control the prompts if they so choose.

No I am not on an exchange server network
If you are asking about the Pocket Mirroe software- I just downloaded the new upgrade off of the Handspring website
The Office software was an upgrade and just installed-
are you suggesting that I uninstall the Palm and associated software and pull the download again?

is that the same as the desktop software? (i forget the correct name, desktop to go maybe?)

yes, uninstall the palm software and reinstall it. if you saved a copy on your drive, you won't need to download it again.

the old version used cdo to work, the new version uses extended mapi and bypasses the prompts. i'm thinking your still using cdo access instead of mapi. sync software was one of the first program updated to avoid the prompt.
