    This is a strange question, but is there an easy way to copy a formula down a column where the cell reference decreases. For example, in cell D2 the formula is =E10, in cell D3 the formula would be =E9, etc.. Is there an easy way to copy the formula down the cells to automatically decrease the cell reference?

    Enter:
    zzE10 in D2
    zzE9 in D3

    copy down, then press Ctrl+H and replace zz with =

    Thanks for the information. I had thought of that, but wondered if there was another way. Thanks for the clean and simple answer.

    If you want a pure formula solution then:
    In D2: =INDEX(E:E,12-row())
    and copy down.
