    Line in Printing (2000)

<img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20> I have a 10 page newsletter. When I print it out (brother laser) say 10 copies, on a few copies there will be a blank 1/8 inch line from border to border across the page. From top to bottom, the line is never in the same spot. I can go back and reprint the pages that have the line and no problem. What is the problem? I don't think it is the printer because I can print out a large file in word (or other programs) and the line is not there.

This is not a problem with your "printer", but actually your printer "driver". Visit the site of your printer manufacturer and be sure to download and update your driver to the latest version available. These drivers are free for download.
