    reports (97)

    What I need is this: You'll notice that the
    report is broken up into
    'Regions' and within regions there are 'VISNs',
    and that at the end of each
    VISN and region, there is a summary. Also, on the
    last page of the report,
    there is a grand total. I would like to summarize
    each Region's 'summaries'
    again on this last page. So, for example, the
    'Appalachians' region has 2
    VISNS. VISN 6 and VISN 7 both have summaries (see
    red on pages 4 and 5) and
    the region is also summarized on page 5 (see
    blue). I would like all this
    information summarized yet again on the last
    page, so basically there would
    be a long list of summarized regions, broke down
    by their respective VISNs.
    And I CANNOT figure you how to write the
    report!!! It's making me crazy.

    We can't SEE anything.
    Try including a printout as an attachment.

    Please don't export to Word.
    Look into the Snapshot View...option,
    or print to PDF.

    The only way to do this is to create a new report that summarizes as you want. Then, imbed this as a subreport in the ReportFooter of your main (existing) report.

    It runs like a pig (because it has to process the same data twice), but it works.
