Html and mht file Import

I'm trying to import an html and mht file into an MS Access database that I created. Are there special considerations or tricks to consider to make this happen. I am uploading csv files into the same database without issues. The files both have merged cell headers above the data table. Should I have these removed before or during the Import procedure?

There are special "wizards" in Access for importing csv or similar delimited files into Access, as well as columnar files like Excel. However HTML and various derived file types don't lend themselves to being imported into Access tables as individual records, and there are no "wizards" for doing that. Note however that XML, which is structured, can be imported. The only option I can suggest for such files is to store them as objects within a table that has a field defined as such. The more common approach with such files is to simply store a path and filename for the file in a text field. Hope this helps.
