I have a query in Access 2007 with four fields: Name, Case, OpenedDate, and ReportDate. There are two (OR) criteria: >#9/30/10# in OpenedDate or >#8/30/10# in ReportDate. I want the Case field (a number) to be populated when it meets the OpenedDate criterion, although it can also meet the ReportDate criterion. In other words, if a record meets the ReportDate criterion, I want that record to appear, but I don't want the Case field to be populated unless the record also meets the OpenedDate criterion. So, if a record includes an OpenedDate of 10/5/10, it will appear with the Case field (and all others) populated. If a record has an OpenedDate of 7/1/10, and a ReportDate of 9/5/10, it also will appear, but its Case field will be empty (a zero would be okay, too), because it did not meet the OpenedDate criterion. I'm sorry if I'm not explaining this well. Thanks!

    Jimmy,

I think this meets your criteria as I understand it.
