Gang- I rebuild a PC every couple of years- and I have two of them, so that's one per year! I was getting great support form the Gurus at the CPU forum. Tried to access the forum to ask a question and can't find it. A typical URL looks like http://www.computerpoweruser.com/ide...?topicID=23553.

The Computer Power User Web site has been completely revamped. There is no link to the forum. Is anybody here familiar with what's going on?

    Thanks. - Dave

If you can believe the attached site map it looks as though they've discontinued the forums. Have you tried contacting them?

Try doing a Google search for the forum.
That has worked for me with other sites.

Hi Guys, I did the Google search before I wrote. There are links to the CPU forums, but they are dead ends. I did write to Sandhill but I imagine the staff is busy with Christmas right now.

I examined some of my issues of CPU magazine and it appears that they've gone "freebie". That is, all of their revenue is from advertizing. The articles by contributers like Anand are not in the publication anymore.

I will ask my hardware question here! Have a Merry Christmad yourselves! - Dave

    Dave,
Hello... Sounds like a great idea ...Starting a new forum heading.... "Power Users" ..all things PC building related.. I'll kick it around with the other "mods' Regards Fred

    Hi Dave,

Just came across this thread after searching on Google. Yeah, unfortunately they did shut the ComputerPowerUser forums down. However I and a handful of the other old members / gurus are now hanging out here. Feel free to stop on by.
