    Happy Holidays Fred !! - Glad you like the Snap3. I particularly like the capturing of a whole page, not just the part you can see on screen.

    This is really weird, was gonna try to figure some way to ask you what program you've used for your scrren shots then found this! But I s'pose by now that offer is void. I'm always a day late & a dollar short. , am on a fixed income & have to use freebies.

    As far as I can tell, the offer is still valid. I just tried and I was able to download the applications.

    Thank you Rui. I never thought to just click the download button, it looked like the box for the code was grayed out & I couldn't see anything that looked like a code so assumed that the offer had expired.

    I just downloaded, haven't checked it out yet.

    Thanx again.

    You're welcome .

    Each of the programs that you may have downloaded will allow you to request keys to activate the program. Not sure if those keys will be offered without any time limit, so maybe install the programs you may be interested in and request the keys.

    oops, guess I should've checked out the program better before I downloaded. Got it started but had to back out when I read the requirements, had no idea what "Media Encoder" was so went searching & evidently I don't have it, guess it deals with video stuff & that's over my head. I was just looking for a capture program that would have arrows, text,etc. like was used to show me something. Irfanview was suggested but I vaguely remember trying it several yrs. ago but found it "over my head" at the time, might have to give it another look tho' since I've got a bit more 'puter time under my belt.

    Anyway, Thanks guys, I'll be back to bug you about something else another time.

    What application are you talking about?

    The requirements for Snap 3 are pretty simple:

    [attachment=91238:Snap_2011.01.12 22.58.40_002.png]

    I captured this with Snap 3, installed yesterday. Works great and has all the tools you describe in your post.

    Regards

    I meant that I should have found & read the requirements before I hit that download button because as far as I can find, I don't have Media Encoder 9. The first time I saw reference to it was in that same window (that you captured) that came up during the installation. In my searching for it yesterday, what I found sounded like it's something for people that have more 'puter knowledge than I do & who work with video stuff, which I don't. I'm just an old granny that more or less does basic's, but thanks anyway.

    You won't notice when you use Snap 3.

    I don't recall having to install Media Encoder and I don't see it in "All Programs" nor in "Add/Remove programs". Perhaps Media Encoder is already part of some other program. Anyway, my Snap 3 works fine as far as I can tell.
