    Custom Date Formatting (Excel 2000 SR1)

    Is there a way to include the day of the week with the date? For instance, I would like the cell to say, Thursday, October 11, 2001.

    Try dddd, mmmm d, yyyy Any time you use more "D"s Excel will let you display the item you want:
    DD = Day Numeirc, DDD = Mon-Tue-Wed, DDDD = Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday...
    It works for MM and YY as well.
