A picture is worth a bunch of words, so I attached a screen shot of my chart. I have no experience in making charts in Excel. The blue columns represent total cases, and the red columns are special cases. So, the number for a red column is included in the blue: in 2004, there were 43 cases, of which 19 were special. What I'd like to do is simply have two-colored columns (one column per year), where the red number is below the blue. Make sense? I would have one, two-colored cylinder per year. Thanks, and Happy New Year!

How about this stacked column (I needed to make an intermediate row of "non-special cases" since the cases include the special cases
