I have been using windows live e-mail for a year. I take all messages onto my computer for handling. All of a sudden my system started giving me the attached message when I attempt to forward certain e-mails. (one or more pictures cannot be found) copy of the message is [attachment=91143:windows mail message.JPG]attached.
Why am I able to send most of the e-mails I receive but occasionally get this message. I have tried to send the message to another of my addresses and the pictures are "NOT" included when the message is received?
Thanks for your usual assistance & happy new year

    Ken, Welcome to the Lounge.

I suspect this is because of the way the original picture was sent to you or included in the email you received. I do not believe it is due to a problem with WLM on your PC. Does this only occur when you attempt to forward an e-mail you have susequently received with a picture attached? In some cases you may have to "save as" the picture you wish to send, then attached the saved image to the e-mail.

Ted Myers, yes the only problem I have is when I attempt to send the e-mail that was forwarded to me as a forwarded message to anyone else, once in while the message shows up. I have attempted to save the picture in .jpg format and then attach it but I have the same message appear. Could there be a difference in the format of the one included in my received e-mail and I can't save it unless it is that format?
    Thanks for your response.

Perhaps the attachments are being corrupted, are you able to view the SAVED attachment with your favorite graphics viewer?
