    Secure a database (97/SR-2)

I want to create a database where I am the only one that can update data. I want everyone else in my group to view and print data, but not update. How would I do this?

Activate the Access security feature by giving the Admin account a password, and then remove all permissions but Select from the Users group, and make sure you are the only user who belongs to the Administrators group. If you really want to lock it up good, use the Security Wizard, but be sure to read up on it or you may discover you can't get into the database either.
