Is there a program other than MS Outlook that can open and read the contents of an Outlook PST file?

    Thanks

See the links at read pst file without outlook - Bing. The aren't free and the free trials are limited in what they will let you do.

Further to Joe's post, Outlook probably is cheaper and more accurate than any of the solutions to "break in" to a PST. Of course, if it was password protected, you might have no choice...

You could look at PSTWalker which I have not used and do not vouch for (Edit: I see Joe's search result includes it). I vaguely recall that Thunderbird can read and import a PST. You may also find some PST reading solutions on MAPILAB.

This one is free, very basic but it works.
