Recovering from corruption (Excel 97 SR-2)

In case I haven't reported this before: We have discovered that when a workbook in which we are doing VBA development using Excel 97 SR-2 becomes corrupted (either cannot be opened or hangs when attempting to view the VBA code), it can be restored to usability by opening and saving the workbook in Excel 2000.

Thanks, very useful information that. In addition, to prevent from getting in such a situation, try out my Autosafe utility. FInd it at
