How are you attempting to send the image? Right click and Sent To? Right click and Copy?

    cheers, Paul

The first suggestion would be to reinstall what you removed.

Is Thunderbird defined as the default email app? Can you check what are the defaults for your windows XP (think on XP it's an option named Set Program Access and Defaults)?

yes thunderbird was and as far as i know still is, the default. "send link" and "send image" used to work ok.

sorry, dont undestand what u mean about defaults, defaults for what?

Windows keeps a record of the default programs for several activities: web browsing, email, etc. When you click Start the defaults can then be accessed through the option Set Program Access and Defaults. Check what values you have there.
