    On the one hand, a Windows app store might make it easier to find an app you need, compared with search engines, which are clotted with duplicative links. On the other hand, existing app stores for other platforms don't seem to have figured out how to solve that problems, so...

    Intel App Up

    Intel have tried the same thing with a focus on netbooks - but works on all PCs
