    web page

    Hello, I am trying to design a web page of my own and host it on a freeserver.I am using space on freeservers.com .But when i design a page and try to upload it using cuteftp. The images are not getting uploaded. I find only the text has been uploaded.Can any one give me suggestions..What should i use for web page designing. I am a bit new to the field.

    Are the pictures not actually getting uploaded? Or are you just not seeing them?

    Do you have absolute references to the pictures (eg "C:images...").

    Check in the folder you've uploaded to see if it's an upload problem or an HTML problem. Then work on from there.

    When you upload html pages you should upload them as ASCII, but when you upload images you need to upload them as binary, did you do this?

    I don't use Cute FTP I use WS_FTP, but have a look and see if you can set the file type to auto, otherwise ensure any files other than html are transferred as binary.
