    Login Interruption

    I have a problem, While trying to log in, I get interupted with an ad to sign up for a subscription to the lounge. Could you NOT do that while I am logging in?

    Thanks, Robbie

    Sorry, but we have no control over that. The site owners control that process.

    But if you check the Remember Me box when you log in, you should be automatically logged in on your next visit and won't see the popup.

    I do check Remember Me but about half of the time, it doesn't. Something keeps resetting my passwords for all sites and I haven't found out what is doing it yet.

    Robbie, what I do is wait about 15 to 20 seconds for that very disturbing, UAC type ad to Pop Up, and then click it off at the X. After that you have all the time you need to sign in. It won't Pop Up again.

    What the owners should have done is extend the amount of time to at least 1 minute so as to give people a chance to sign in right away. That must have been over their heads. Please excuse the sarcasm, I've been complaining about this ad for quite awhile.

    @cescott,

    As stated above, we have no control over the ads on the site. Please use the "Contact" tab at the top of the page to let the higher powers know your views on this.

    Thank You Roland but I Only have the first for options set for delete history (Preserve Favorites Website data, Temporary Internet Files and Website Date Files, Cookies and Website Data, History.)

    Should I uncheck any of those?

    I'm not blaming you Joe, or any others on this site who help people so well. Thanks for the advice on the Contact tab, I'll give it a try.

    That's tricky, Robbie.

    If you were to only use CCleaner to control your cookies, you could simply add the cookies needed to the right hand column (CCleaner > Options > Cookies) as 'cookies to keep'. Any other utilities, including those built-in to the browser or OS, could override and delete all cookies.
